Get Gone Radio Tour Nov/Dec 2017!

I released my 4th single, Get Gone, to Canadian Country Radio on November 1/17. I was back in Nashville recording in October and released Get Gone as soon as I got home! Get Gone is fun and feisty with the perfect combination of both class and sass. I wrote this one on my own and am excited about the song! It’s written from many experiences in my life and I think it’s very relatable to others. My hometown station, 95.5 Real Country Red Deer, debuted Get Gone on release day, November 1st! I had a blast touring southern Alberta and Saskatchewan that week and taking part in two Radiothon’s. The Cypress Hospital Radiothon in Swift Current was a lot of fun and I performed live on air. They raised a lot of money for the Dr Noble Irwin Foundation to help out the maternity ward at that hospital. The Paws For Pledges Humane Society Radiothon in Moose Jaw was amazing!! I have such a love for animals so to be able to combine my two passions, music and animals, was truly incredible. I got to spend time on air with Courtney talking about my new single and about the animals, and played and snuggled with the dogs and cats. An amazing experience and they raised over $100,000 for the animals! Wow! My Mom came along and we enjoyed visiting family in Saskatchewan for the weekend after my radio touring. What a fun trip! I enjoyed visiting many other stations (pics below) throughout the past month and a half and drove through all kinds of road conditions including a full out blizzard, freezing rain, crazy wind, and also some warm weather and sunshine! Quite the mix for this time of year. I saw some interesting sights on this radio tour such as the world’s largest Ukrainian sausage, world’s largest perogy and the world’s largest UFO landing site haha! It’s always fun visiting new places, seeing new sights, and meeting new faces. Thank you to the amazing radio stations who have been playing Get Gone and who have had me in for interviews, or over the phone interviews, and to the Red Deer Express, Sylvan Lake News, and Eckville Echo for featuring me and the news of my newest single in your newspapers! Watch for a new single to be released in the late spring!! Until then, I hope y’all enjoy Get Gone and the previous tunes I’ve released off my debut album, Golden.  xoxo~Alecia~
