It has been a blast with the release of my 3rd radio single What It Wasn’t! There’s nothing like getting out on the open road and doing what I love to do!! Music!!! This past couple of months I was fortunate to visit many stations across my lovely home province of Alberta including my hometown Real Country Red Deer, Country 105 Calgary, Real Country Blairmore, Real Country Brooks, Sun Country High River, AM 1140 High River, Big West Country Drayton Valley, XM 105 Whitecourt, and CHAT FM Medicine Hat! I enjoyed an entire afternoon co-hosting on CHAT FM with my good buddy Steve and had many laughs! He even sent me home with my very own CHAT FM wine glass (which I have already used a couple of times)! The folks at Real Country Red Deer are so much fun and I left a little “artwork” on their wall… Pippi the Penguin… really the only thing I know how to draw half decent haha! And spending a morning at Sun Country High River with the lovely Jody is always a great time! All of the stations I have visited have been incredibly welcoming, fun, and supportive! Thanks to all of the stations who also did phone interviews including Cal at CJVR Melfort on Canadian Coast to Coast, Kathy at CKSW Swift Current, and Cruise at Hot Country 103 Halifax for featuring me on the Hot Discovery! Also a big thank you to Ashley for the feature on the Canadian Spotlight on all Real Country stations across Alberta!! Thanks so much to the radio stations across Canada who added and/or featured What It Wasn’t! Y’all rock!!! I am truly grateful for the support and already planning what my next single will be! Now it’s back to the writing and hopefully back to the studio soon =) ~Alecia~
